Frequent Questions.

Customer questions

How does on-demand production affect delivery times?

Because each item is made to order, delivery times may be slightly longer than fast fashion brands. Typically, orders arrive within 2-4 weeks.

Since it's on-demand will it be as good as something mass-produced?

Our European production partners are highly skilled and use advanced technology. On-demand doesn't mean lower quality—it means focused production. We have strict quality control measures in place, and every garment is inspected before shipping. We are proud of the craftsmanship.

How do I know my size?

Each product page includes a detailed size guide. Since our products are made on demand, we recommend checking measurements carefully before ordering.

Do you have a physical store?

Not at this time. Gryning clothes are exclusively available online and made to order. We deliver in all of EU and have 14 days return right from when you recieve your delivery.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes of course! Any returns are acceptable 14 days after you receive your order.

If I return an item, what happens to it?

We designed our system for circularity. Returned items, if in new condition, may be resold. Items that cannot be resold are recycled or repurposed whenever possible. Our DPP will show the end-of-life options.

Does Gryning use air freight?

No. We do not fly. All shipments are transported by rail or road to minimize environmental impact.

How can I stay updated on new collections?

Follow us on Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok, or subscribe to our newsletter for exclusive updates on upcoming drops and creator collaborations.

Why are your prices higher than fast fashion brands? Is it just a 'sustainability tax'?

Our pricing reflects the true cost of ethical and sustainable production. We pay fair wages, use high-quality, circular materials, and produce in Europe, all of which cost more than the exploitative practices of fast fashion. We also have a fair revenue share with the creators. It's not a 'tax' but an investment in a better future for fashion.

About Gryning

What is Gryning?

Gryning is an AI-powered fashion house that enables creators to design and launch their own collections using on-demand, nearshore production in Europe. We focus exclusively on circular materials and cutting-edge digital product development.

How is Gryning sustainable?

We focus on circularity, using only natural materials with recycled content, producing on demand, and keeping manufacturing close to customers to reduce emissions. We also provide full transparency with our Digital Product Passport (DPP) and ensure low-impact transport—we do not fly. Additionally, all labels and packaging are free from synthetic and fossil-derived materials.

How does Gryning work?

Creators work with our AI-powered design system to develop their collections. Once a collection is finalized, it is produced on-demand using natural fabrics with recycled content and shipped directly to customers.

Who can create a collection with Gryning?

We collaborate with a curated group of creators—fashion-forward individuals with a unique aesthetic and engaged audiences. If you're interested in joining, reach out to us!

What makes Gryning different from traditional fashion brands?

Unlike traditional brands, we:

  • Produce on-demand, minimizing overproduction and waste.
  • Work exclusively with circular, recycled materials.
  • Manufacture in Europe, ensuring ethical, high-quality production.
  • Use AI to streamline product development and transparency.
  • Full transparency through our Digital Product Passport (DPP).
  • No synthetic or fossil-derived materials in fabric, labels or packaging

How is 'on-demand' genuinely more sustainable?

On-demand is fundamentally about preventing overproduction, a massive source of waste in fashion. Yes, it means slightly longer delivery times, but it's a trade-off for true sustainability. We only produce what's ordered, avoiding excess inventory that often ends up in landfills or is incinerated. This is about a conscious shift to a more responsible model.

What is Gryning’s Digital Product Passport (DPP)?

Every Gryning garment comes with a Digital Product Passport (DPP), providing full transparency on materials, production, and impact. By scanning the QR code on your garment, you can see:

  • The origin of the materials
  • Timeline and route of garment
  • The production process
  • End-of-life options for recycling
  • Certificates

What materials do you use?

All Gryning garments are made from natural materials with recycled content, ensuring recyclability. We do not use any synthetic materials.

What percentage of 'natural materials with recycled content' is actually recycled?

We strive for the highest possible percentage of recycled content without compromising quality. We're transparent about the exact breakdown in our DPP. It varies by material, but we always prioritize maximizing recycled content and are continually working to increase it.

What about labels and packaging?

All labels and packaging are made from natural, non-fossil-derived materials—we do not use synthetics or plastics.

Where are Gryning products made?

All Gryning garments are produced in Europe, in close geographical proximity to the end consumer to reduce emissions, ensuring fair wages and high-quality craftsmanship.
